This section showcases a selection of relevant projects primarily in product and graphic design. While these works are not centered on user experience, they highlight key aspects of my background as a designer, including creativity, craftsmanship, and a strong visual identity.

ti sblocco un ricordo

ti sblocco un ricordo

Ti Sblocco un Ricordo ("I'll Unlock a Memory for You") is a personalized version of Taboo that I created with two friends as a graduation gift for our fourth friend. We customized every detail (cards, packaging, and pawns)with shared memories and inside jokes, like our Powerpuff Girls avatars. After sharing the project online, we received commissions to create similar games tailored to other groups of friends and their unique stories.

acorus

Acorus is a multifunctional furniture system designed to foster collaboration and improve the mood of teams in coworking environments. The concept addresses the need for versatility, offering a space divider that not only organizes and defines work areas but also integrates technology for multisensory stimulation based on voice tones detected in the environment.

Equipped with an environmental microphone and microcontroller, Acorus analyzes vocal frequencies to identify moods ranging from boredom to annoyance. It responds with carefully chosen stimuli—such as scents, sounds, and light pulses inspired by water—aimed at promoting focus, relaxation, or engagement.

The system consists of modular units made of wood, cork, and acrylic, featuring tongue-and-groove connections for endless configurations. While three modules house the multisensory technology, others provide additional functionalities, creating a flexible and aesthetically pleasing solution for dynamic coworking spaces.

halo

Halo is a speculative design project exploring a future scenario set in 2086, where medium-distance mobility is optimized for efficiency, sustainability, and shared experiences. The concept envisions a product-service system combining an app with modular flying vehicles, designed to reduce traffic, minimize pollution, and turn travel into a moment of collective enjoyment.

The app allows users to book shared journeys, choosing travel preferences and destinations, while the system calculates the most efficient route to bring together passengers with similar needs. The vehicles themselves offer customizable interiors, adapting to the user’s preferences, whether for work, relaxation, or entertainment.

This project imagines a future where technology enhances not only the function but also the social aspect of mobility, making travel an interactive and connected experience. Through this speculative design, Halo offers a vision of a smarter, more sustainable way to navigate the cities of tomorrow.

keramia

Keramia is a project to modernize the Italian company Este Ceramiche by designing a clay product collection aimed at younger audiences. Drawing from the company’s heritage, we reimagined their iconic elements, like the deer, the rabbit, and the camel, into colorful, kaleidoscopic patterns. These were applied to two collections: a limited edition of three vases inspired by simplified Hellenic shapes and a prêt-à-porter collection of three decorative plates. Alongside the products, we designed the visual identity, packaging, and rebranding to align with the fresh, contemporary direction of the collection.

ruppinùci

This project reimagines the traditional nutcracker to enhance its usability and address specific challenges faced by the elderly. Inspired by my grandmother Anna, an 84-year-old from Salerno who loves cooking but struggles with manual dexterity and strength, the design focuses on solving common pain points like shell scattering and injury during use.

Using Alessi as the reference company, I conducted user research and market analysis to identify key issues with existing nutcrackers. The result is Ruppinuci, an elegant stainless-steel nutcracker designed to blend functionality with familiarity. Its ergonomic handle mimics the traditional two-lever style, making it intuitive for older users, while a stable enclosure contains shells during use, reducing mess and effort. Prototyped and refined through usability testing, Ruppinuci combines practicality and aesthetic appeal, offering a thoughtful solution for both form and function.
